hmmm i technically gave most of the presents to family (mostly clothing or toys for the young ones lol) but hmmm, prob the best present i got was the wii fit from a friend of mine LOL second to that would be the digital pictur display thingy I got from my cousin lol tho still awaintng a few presents :D
Well, I got a gift card to my favorite store (Ruehl) and I got some wonderful cologne from Juicy Couture which I absolutely love.
However, my absolute favorite gift that I got this year was the experience of spending it with my family. This was the first year that my bf Jim got to go to my family's house (not just my immediate, but also my grandparents home) and celebrate christmas. He's been over there many times before, but this time, it made me feel like he was viewed as "family" because there were presents underneath the tree with his name on them.
The best thing of all this christmas was playing the game "catchphrase" with my extended family and surprising my mom and siblings with a brand new, 42" flat screen TV (you should have seen the crappy TV they had before, which conveniently died a few days before Christmas).
hmmmm best present would have to be the wheels and bearings for my skates ive been dying to get, Smurf got me those :) i loved all her presents but then anopther one i really loved was..the singstar country game i really wanted my sister in law got it for me and i was shocked cus we were supposed to have a spending limit because we do secret santa because theres too many of us to do presents for everyone. except the kids they get gifts from everyone still.
ummm...other than that i loved spending it with smurf and my family...not so much my family they really upset me xmas eve. had me in tears for a good part of the day...but xmas was good.
ok, cash, always the best. And I got a laptop that all my family went in on for my schoolwork, which is awesome. I knew I needed one but there was no way I could afford it myself.
But the best thing of all was definately bethany. She's my friends neice and last year I spent about six months taking care of her, I was the shit, she wouldn't even eat unless I cooked it for her, and well she had to go back to her grandmas house. She came back for christmas, right after her third birthday, still slightly remembered me cuz of pictures and everything and can say my full name now... she helped me open gifts and we made gingerbread houses and everything. It was really all I needed for christmas.
I didn't realy had gifts this year...Exept for one. I got to see my family again!! I don't live close to them so i can only see them about once a year. It was nice to be with all my cousins, uncles and aunts again^^ Might sound cheezy but that's what I've always loved about the hollydays! You get to be with all the ones you love. I think the real gift is to know that your family is still there for you. And...Yeah that's about it.
