a moment is all it takes
ok so i had no ida what this falls under
but all i know is i needed a site
that he isnt signed up for
soo i am really close to this boy
he is on of my best friends
he is gay and well ill just get to the point
monday night him and my friend destiny came over
to spend the night and watch queer as folk season 2
well destiny went to bed at 2 and me and him were bored
no we did not have sex im sure thats what some people were
thinking i was getting at
instead we went outside
and layed on my deck
we took my laptop out for some backroun music
and listened to sweet soft stuff
like iris norah jones and sigur ros
and we layed there holding hands
watching the stars and talking
we talked about school
and our parents
about home life
and relationships
i told him about me extreme fear
of long term relationships
he told me about his desire to make someone happy
he told me i was his idol
i was ablew to come out and face the people in our school
and ever after getting jumped i still face them
that i was the strongest person he has ever met
words have never meant much to me
but in those few moments
they meant the world
and gave me so much hope for my life
i got cold and he held me
it was the most romantic and happy moment of my life
and didnt feel awkward or nervous
i was happy and safe
problem
we dont like each other like that
well at least he doesnt
as the night went on the more my feelings grew
we layed together until sunrise
then went in and layed on my bed for a bit
until i layed on the florr for him to get some sleep
i spent the rest of the nigth thinking
about him wishing he was awake holding me
sooo yeah any input?

It sounds like he really cares for you and you really love him - why not try to take it further?
2 i totally agree, there's no way he doesn't like you like that, no boy (gay or w/e) says anything like that to anyone without having strong feelings for them. just give it a little nudge, not a push, pushing scares people, nudging is much better ;)
this is just a ficade
Aww.. I love romantic moments like that... ^^"
It certainly sounds like you both like each other "like that". =P Give the relationship a nudge, or try to have another night with him like that. I don't know what fears you have of long-term relationships, but he certainly sounded like he wants to make you that happy person. Maybe it's worth exploring deeper, yea?
