so friday was military ball for my afjrotc corps. and being the oddball that i am, i was the only girl wearing my service dress uniform along with the boys (though i should have worn my white shirt too). but you wanna know what the most awesome thing is? i was crowned mil ball queen...      uh, yeah, wow. first thought: god i hate you people. second: oh shit i have to go up there now. third: i'm gunna kill you all on tuesday for making me dance now. 

i mean, i guess it's pretty cool to be the queen and all. not to mention i think i'm the first mil ball queen wearing her uniform... it was pretty funny seeing myself in the mirror with my uniform and a tiara on top of my head. i'm probably the first openly gay mil ball queen too. there were only two things wrong with dancing with the king one: he's a tall ass dude and my arms don't really go that high in my dress jacket, two: the dj could not have picked a longer song, seriously. (apparently someone thought it would be a good idea to use the same dj that we had at dining in, he was trying to play music for white people, so basically he sucked)

oh and i was totally pissed that we couldn't just drive there on our own, because the place is five minutes away from my dad's house where i was going to be going afterwards, and my mom's place is a half an hour from my dad's...
