woot, i'm ecstatic

woot, i'm ecstatic
  so it's a little early to tell right now but things seem to be going fairly well :)

so i asked the girl i really like to be my gf and she said of course, so obviously i'm on top of the world because of that, ya know except for the fact that she's stationed in DC... but such is the norm for my life. i've known her for about a year, from here, but it was just about a month ago that we got to know each other. 

i went to MEPS (military entrance processing station) on thursday and friday so i could do all my stuff to go into the air force done. i took the asvab (armed services vocational and battery) again on thursday, cuz my old score doesn't show up in the system cuz apparently i put my name down wrong on my first test... but oh well it's just a test and i did better this time. i got an afqt of 93 this time and all of my air force composite scores are over 90, so if that makes no sense to you, i did really good. so on friday i was SUPPOSED to get my physical and all that good stuff, but mother nature decided to be a bitch and just after we checked into the hotel they put us up in for the night i got my monthly visit from TOM, which meant i couldn't do the physical... FML. so i got to sit in the lobby watching the military channel for like 7 hours only to find out my recruiter had been looking for me for an hour, when he walked right past me and so did the air force counselor...

so if my body cooperates i can go back this next week and do the physical, if not then i'll go back the next week. but on the brighter side since i got such a good score my recruiter said if i do well on my physical i can get any job i want :D so my recruiter is trying to get me to go for crypto linguist apprentice or airborne cryptologic apprentice because they're spec ops and you get a signing bonus of 3000 for four years and 17000 for six years, and they're awesome in the civilian world. but i can get anything else i want too so i'm excited, cuz i kinda really want to do something in intelligence.

 Very good. I'm proud of of how well you are doing with this. Choose carefully and and take some of the bonus and start an investment project that you can keep feeding from this end during your service.

Thats awesome!!..

I've always had a secret interest in military life and would love to, but i dont think i could cut it, plus I'm so invested in my education as is idk..lol

 update!!!

swore into the air force last thursday :D got my list of job choices and once one of them opens up i'll get my ship date. could be as soon as december, but most likely sometime around february or march.

i'm going to DC on october 24th, my girlfriend is flying me out there, i'm going to be out there for 11 days. sooooooo excited. i get to kick her new roommates ass for biting her while they were drunk at a club (apparently she bit quite a few people). i guess a few of the guys are scared that i'm coming as well, i'm not sure if they realize i'm like a foot shorter than most of them...

haha, thats awesome...very exciting stuff!!...dont commit murder in DC the air force prolly doesnt look nicely on murder however....definitely rough some people up lol...

 ahaha, no real murder, i promise stacey.

well if you're jealous about that, i'm going to make you really jealous (if you remember your history). went to an air show at edward's afb, and we did a special swear in ceremony, and CHUCH YEAGER was there, it was awesome.

ahahaha, i'm in DC now, having soooooooooooo much fun. but the east coast is fucking weird, not kidding, dc has the weirdest freaking freeways/highways ever.
my gf it seems has no idea how to be discreet, and the left side of my neck looks like someone tried to strangle me and failed miserably... several times... but i think i'm gunna go to bed now and stop typing, typing is a bad idea in my current state... hehehehe

lol, my mom's side of the family is all from the east coast so it's not really new to me, it's just weird, it's so green and damp here. the last time i was in DC was the summer of 2000, so i don't remember it very well. funny story, i was in new york exactly a year before the twin towers were attacked, i took a picture of the new york skyline and the date on it is sep 10 2000, it was kinda creepy when i found that picture a while ago. 

so the stuff on my neck is kinda fading, but my back and my shoulders look like somebody whipped me. not to mention the bruises from JC biting me everywhere. i really just look like somebody kicked my ass. i need to start putting some neosporin on my back cuz i really don't need those kind of scars... it would be very difficult to explain at meps. they'd be like "did you have those scars last time you came here?" me "uhhh, no... and it's not self inflicted, i swear" "well then wth happened?" "uh.... well... you see i uh, i fell onto a cactus?"

yeah, they're two other guardsmen, and they're all like attached at the hip. oh and i forgot to mention the rug burn on my arm from jc and i wrestling in the common room, she's got it all over her knees cuz she was wearing shorts, ahahaha. neither of us was going to win so we called it a draw after like 5 minutes.

so i guess i played straight pretty well last night, cuz we went to a pub called murphy's with one of the guys who doesn't know courtney is gay, and he was just totally oblivious (oh and i wore girl clothes and showed him that new years pic from my myspace so that totally distracted him).

ahahaha... yes that one stacey. apparently we're all spending the night at his appartment like friday or something. he has an off base apartment cuz he's married, but his wife just moved back to washington state cuz some stuff happened, so it's empty and we're all gunna chill there. and apparently we now have to find me a sexy halloween costume for saturday cuz i think they said we're going to college park or something like that, and dressing girly apparently makes me look older, so girly and slutty at the same time should cover all the bases... i'm not sure how i get myself roped into this shit.
