Question: Profile walls

I've been wondering about the use of profile walls and wanted to get some opinions about it.

The wall is currently set so that only members on your buddylist can post there. I prefer to have the wall post-able by all members by default with the option to make it exclusive for buddies. Sometimes I read someone's profile and want to respond, and having the wall would be a great way to have wall-to-wall talk.

Do you like the wall to be openly post-able? Would you mind? Would you prefer to have no wall (and make the profile just a profile)?

oooh, you can't take the comments off the profile. that would be so so sad. But I think having an option of it being open to all members is a really good idea.

i say it totally should be open to all members..and have a choice to make it only for buddies...thatd be awesomeness

I like the idea of everyone being able to post...  That would be nifty, not to mention it could be possible to make more friends that way, though in one way we kinda are all friends.  It's confusing and I am rambling now...  Anyways, you could have the buddies comments maybe look a different way then everyone else that comments.  Hmm!!!  Either way, I likes the idea! Woot!  ^_^
